Policies

Breakthrough Pain Relief Clinic is built on a foundation of mutual trust and respect.

As a condition of working with us, all clients agree to the policies below.  They're non-negotiable.  If you don't support any of these policies, that means our values aren't aligned and you can't be our client.

Privacy Policy

Prior to your first appointment, you will be asked to complete a confidential health history form online or it will be filled out during your first appointment. This form must be updated any time there are significant changes to your health history (ex. surgery, major illness or diagnosis) and confirmed once a year to ensure there are no significant changes.

The information in your file can only be released with your consent or as required by law. In order to best serve you, We may discuss your case with the other healthcare providers at our clinic that are involved in your care.

Cancellation Policy

Our time and yours are equally valuable — this policy exists to protect both.

48-Hour Notice Required
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we require appointments to be cancelled or rescheduled by 4:00 p.m. two business days before the scheduled appointment by contacting us directly or through the link in your Jane App confirmation email.  Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment time are subject to the full session fee — with one exception: contagious illness or medical emergencies.

Think of your appointment like a concert ticket. If you can't make it, the ticket is still yours to pay for. That said, we genuinely understand that illness can arrive without warning — and we appreciate you staying home when you are unwell. If you are sick, as much notice as possible is appreciated so the spot can be offered to someone on the cancellation list.

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session will end at the original scheduled time and the full session fee applies. If less than 30 minutes of your appointment remains when you arrive, the session will need to be rescheduled and the full cancellation fee applies.

Switching to a Lower-Priced Service
If you would like to change your booking to a shorter session with less than 48 hours' notice, the original reserved session fee still applies.

Outstanding Fees
Any outstanding cancellation fees must be settled before your next appointment can be confirmed.

Our Promise to You
This policy runs both ways. If our therapists ever needs to cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice for any reason other than illness, your next session is on them.

Thank you for respecting our time and well-being — just as we respects yours.
